After your inquiry, I’ll send you a welcome guide to help you plan for your session and ensure its success — from planning outfits to booking around other commitments!
The session itself is laid back and fun, and will focus on your young person and those nearest and dearest to them.
After the session, we’ll book in an in-person or virtual viewing and I’ll walk you through the available products, and help you choose the perfect solution for your life and your home
Location and outfit planning (this one is short and sweet, so 2 outfits and 1 location)

Sessions include location and outfit planning, approximately 1 hour of photography, your own customized viewing and ordering session, and a $500 credit toward any products you wish to purchase! We’re super passionate about ensuring that this is an experience from start to finish, so want to make sure you are left with tangible products from your session and not just digital files that will sit forever on your computer.
We can do large canvases or prints, collages, albums or folio boxes, which are a more contemporary “unbound” type of album. We’ll find out more about you and your home during the process to ensure we’re recommending products that suit your life!
You are welcome to bring any items that defines your personality and passions — and we'll incorporate it into your session. Some students like to include their favourite pet in their pictures!
Absolutely! We will make sure to shoot a combination of poses, some including the additional person, and some without. If the additional person is also interested in purchasing products, their viewing party will be separate.
We will work with you ahead of time to come up with a location that is either meaningful to you in some way or is just a place that photographs beautifully, and will help you choose an outfit or two that complements it perfectly!

Alright, so first off - Jete is one of the best people we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She is so personable and easy-going that she transformed my husband and I from having "Chandler Bing photo faces" to prepping us for America's Next Top Model.
The photos that Jete captured from our wedding are nothing short of absolutely amazing. She did our engagement photos, wedding photos, and our album - everything consistently stunning. It was the best day of my life and going through those photos gave me the blessing of being able to re-live that special day. I am so excited to have these photos on our walls for the rest of my life. 10/10 would forever recommend.
I can't believe this has taken me this long to write - but I honestly could not and probably still can't express just how incredible Jete is! From the minute we started corresponding, I felt like I had known her for years. She is kind, patient, bubbly and energetic as well as incredibly talented.
Jete made both my husband and I feel so very relaxed and comfortable at a time when we would both normally be awkward and insecure. As someone that generally hates photo's of myself, I CANNOT STOP looking at our photographs!! Jete put me at ease with any concerns, and fit right in with our families making our day so so special.
It's almost been a year and I still tear up looking through them as she is able to capture so much emotion in a single image. Don't even think about it, just book her in - I will guarantee you will not be disappointed!
AHMAZING! I have had the pleasure of being in a wedding that Jete was the photographer for and she was also my photographer back in 2013 when I got married! I was young and excited and had no clue how it all worked and she walked me through every step and kept me organized so the day could run as smoothly as possible for pictures and so we wouldn't miss any details!
She can make absolutely anyone (and thing) look beautiful in a picture. She helps you to relax and make the session super fun and natural so that you cant believe how fast the time has passed. She has incredible stamina and energy-even when she is photographing her last wedding of the season in 40 degree weather about 7 months pregnant! I couldn't recommend her enough! If you have the luck to grab her before she is booked up then you have won the wedding lottery!
We recently had a family photo session with Jete at Urban Fig Photography. With two little boys (aged 5 and 2), sitting still is quite an issue, and looking at the camera while doing that is next to impossible! Jete was very patient and creative in the ways she got my boys to participate in the photo shoot.
