Chilliwack Wedding Photographer

I’ve been riding this high of endorphins or something ever since I shot Tom & Kristie’s wedding on Saturday. Or maybe it’s just pregnancy hormones?? Either way, it’s been awesome. It was my first wedding of the season, and it. was. amazing. I’m always a bit nervous before my first wedding. I feel like maybe I won’t be as creative as I could be, because I haven’t shot a wedding for a few months. But these two were so… I don’t know… just INTO eachother, everything just felt perfect. They fell into all of these adorable, natural, intimate poses, and spent most of their portrait time just hanging out, snuggling, and laughing at eachother. I hardly had to pose them at all!

The day was drizzly and overcast, so we met under a bridge for the first look and portraits. Umbrellas are awesome, but it’s nice to be able to just hang out, and not have to worry about trying to stay dry. Their whole wedding party was a blast, and my cheeks actually hurt from laughing 😀 Following portraits, and family photos, we met at Cornerstone Christian Reformed Church for the ceremony. Quik Pik flowers and Cinderella Slip-Ons are an absolute dream team, and had the church looking so fresh and beautiful!! After an emotional ceremony, we all made our way to the Ramada Abbotsford, which was also decorated to the nines, where we enjoyed another soul satisfying dinner (the Ramada team never disappoints!), fantastic speeches, and dancing. Tom & Krit, I’m so thankful to have been your photographer, and capture these moments for you. I hope you love them as much as I do!!

I’ve never seen two people soak each other in like Tom and Kristie! Such an easy thing to photograph.
