Got a nice camera? Want to use it to its full potential? 

This in-person workshop is for you if you are shooting in auto or manual mode on a DSLR, and not getting the results you want. We cram a lot of stuff into one workshop, but you go home with printed notes that you can reference if you ever get stuck!

What you will learn

  • Using composition, perspective, and framing to add impact to your photos
  • Metering using manual mode
  • The exposure triangle; ISO, Aperture & Shutter Speed

FAQ’s

Do I need a DSLR to take the workshop?

Yes, it is highly recommended. The first 30 minutes of the course will be beneficial to anyone taking pictures – including those using a phone camera – but the remainder of the evening is spent learning things that are DSLR or mirrorless-specific

What should I bring to the workshop?

You only need to bring your camera and any lenses you have, but we’ll send out a welcome email after you’ve registered which outlines what to expect.

Will I be going home with anything from the workshop?

Yes! You’ll go home with some tips and strategies that you can practice.
